I adopted a barn kitten who had been at the shelter in a cage for almost two months. now, after having him for 3 weeks, he will barely come out of our detached garage. I really wanted an outside cat to catch mice, but it's not working so far. it has been a LOT of work just for him to let me see him. ugh.
