K-State QB Trolls Shedeur Sanders After Win vs. Colorado

    By Matthew Davis,

Kansas State quarterback Avery Johnson had a little fun with Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders after a 31-28 win on October 12.

Johnson posted "College GameDay" unanimously picking Colorado (4-2) against the No. 17 Wildcats (5-1) plus the title of Sanders' rap song, "Perfect Timing" on social media on Monday. The K-State quarterback added the comment "yeah ight" at the bottom of the post.

Johnson threw a game-winning touchdown pass to wide receiver Jayce Brown, who beat Buffaloes cornerback Preston Hodge on the 50-yard score. Sanders couldn't answer in the final two minutes of the game as his team turned it over on downs at the Buffaloes 30-yard line, and Johnson took a kneel down amid a victory in Boulder, Colorado.

"It's fun to play in hostile environments (and) just to silence the crowd in big-time games," Johnson told reporters afterward . "We just wanted to show tonight that we're a great team and we can win close games on the road."

Despite the tough environment, Johnson put on a show besides his on-field play. He did a mid-game selfie , and he did a dance in imitation of Sanders' famous father and head coach, Deion, after a rushing touchdown.

"I just was," Johnson said as he laughed. "It was 'The Deion.' What he do."
