Buhl man injured in rollover

MOUNTAIN IRON—A 32-year-old Buhl man suffered non-life-threatening injuries Monday when the pickup he was driving southbound left Highway 169 and rolled into the median near Mineral Avenue, a Minnesota State Patrol report said.

Damion Joseph Mittelstadt was taken to Virginia Essentia Hospital by the Virginia Ambulance after the accident on a snowy/icy Highway 169, MSP said.

Mittelstadt was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department and the Mountain Iron Fire Department assisted with the 7:06 a.m. crash.
