<body><div><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=0OxG9Q_0w6ckrH900" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=0OxG9Q_0w6ckrH900" width="1320" height="743" >TOWN OF AVA, N.Y. — State Police announced the arrest of 33-year-old Alexander Pfendler from Constableville for allegedly Driving While Intoxicated when he struck an Amish Buggy in Oneida County this past August.The crash on August 2, in the Town of Ava, resulted in two people inside the buggy being ejected, with one teenage boy staying in the hospital for a long period of time while recovering from a skull fracture.The teen has since been released and is recovering at home.Police said Pfendler was driving a 2014 RAM 1400 when his truck hit the rear of the buggy on State Route 26.On Saturday, October 14, he was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, and Vehicular Assault in the 2nd degree stemming from the investigation into the crash. Pfendler was issued several other traffic tickets.He is due in Town of Ava Court on November 14.</div></body>
