Brantley Gilbert pauses concert as wife gives birth on bus

( NewsNation ) — Country star Brantley Gilbert paused a concert in Tupelo, Mississippi on Oct. 11, 2024, when his wife gave birth to the couple’s third son on the tour bus.

Gilbert was pulled away not long after his set started and when he returned to the stage and told the crowd “We’ve got a baby.”

The country singer and his wife, Amber Cochran Gilbert, posted a video to Instagram with the story.

Gilbert was seen in the video standing over his wife and holding the baby boy while talking to his mother on the phone. His post described what he called the “craziest” night of his life.

The couple have two older sons, Barrett and Braylen, and their third son Abram’s name was announced in another social media post.

Gilbert and his wife married in 2015 and announced they were expecting their third child in May, on a Mother’s Day post on social media.
