A Codi Alert was issued for a missing Virginia teen who has now been found safe

The Codi alert is in effect in Virginia

The Codi Alert was named in honor of 4-year-old Codi Bigsby, who was reported missing in January 2022 but was never found. This law passed in the Virginia General Assembly thanks to initiative from The Virginia Critical Operation for a Disappeared Child.

A Codi alert was recenlty issued for missing Virginia teen Masyn Isabella Sehen. WRIC reported the 15-year-old Check Virginia, (Floyd County) resident was last seen on Saturday, Oct. 12, in the 3400 block of Daniels Run Road NE around 7:30 p.m.

Authorities revealed the teen was probably on foot and now have given an update. The Virginia missing persons Facebook page stated on October 13, that Sehen has been found safe.
