LAPD motorcycle officer injured in DTLA crash

A Los Angeles Police Department motorcycle officer was injured Monday in a collision involving a possible hit-and-run vehicle in the downtown Los Angeles area.

The crash was reported at 12:45 p.m. at Sunset Boulevard and Figueroa Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The officer was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.

Reports from the scene indicate that the driver remained at the location, but police did not provide details about the crash, which is still under investigation.
