    Police investigate street takeover in South L.A. area

    One person was arrested Monday at or near the scene of a street takeover in the South Los Angeles area where several parked vehicles were damaged, police said.

    Officers were sent to the area of Colden Avenue and San Pedro Street at 3:45 a.m. on a report of a person with a gun, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

    Authorities arrested one person on suspicion of reckless driving, according to the LAPD, which reported that no weapon was found during the investigation.
