Raiders' Maxx Crosby Sends Message To Injured Aidan Hutchinson Amid Lions Trade Rumors

Maxx Crosby is a three-time Pro Bowler who was born in Texas and put down roots in Michigan culminating in a storied college football career with the Eastern Michigan Eagles.

Crosby ranks fifth in the NFL in sacks this season with 5.5, two behind the NFL's leader, Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, who has 7.5 on the season.

Hutchinson suffered a gruesome broken leg injury during Sunday's 47-9 demolition job of the Dallas Cowboys in Big D that included a turnaround for surgery and led to an outpouring of thoughts and prayers from around the NFL.

Crosby, a stellar pass rusher in his own right, took to X to share a message of encouragement for Hutchinson amid injury reports and Detroit Lions trade rumors.

"Sending prayers to Hutch," Crosby wrote with a pair of praying hands emoji in a post that was viewed over 1.6 million times as of late Monday afternoon.

Crosby and other edge rushers have been the subject of Lions trade rumors going back to the offseason. Trade rumors have begun to intensity now that the 4-1 Lions are going to be stuck without the NFL's sacks leader for the rest of the season.

"I see them looking to make a move but I don't see them mortgaging the future, I don't see them giving up multiple (first round picks) for Maxx Crosby or Myles Garrett or even Haason Reddick," ESPN Insider Adam Schefter said about the Lions to Pat McAfee on Monday.

"There are some names out there that'll just keep coming up," Schefter continued, adding that he doesn't think the Browns will move Garrett or the Raiders will move Crosby.
