Former President Donald Trump on Monday criticized Fox News in a series of social media posts, claiming the conservative-leaning network “has grown weak and soft on Democrats” after the network announced it will interview Vice President Kamala Harris.

Trump posted on social media that Fox News anchor Bret Baier, who will interview Harris on Wednesday, is too soft on the left. In a separate post , Trump claimed that Harris’ spokesperson, Ian Sams, “virtually owns [Fox]” and took shots at several Fox News personalities, including Neil Cavuto.

“Lyin’ Kamala Harris has wisely chosen Bret Baier, of FoxNews, to do a much needed interview, because he is considered to be ‘Fair & Balanced,’ though often very soft to those on the ‘cocktail circuit’ Left,” read one of Trump’s posts.

He added he would prefer to see her interviewed by “a more hard hitting journalist.” When asked for comment, Trump’s campaign responded only with the original post.

In the other post, Trump wrote that Fox “has totally lost its way” and attacked anchors Cavuto, Eric Shawn and Arthel Neville while also pillorying Democrats who go on Fox.

“How much time does Ian Sams, Senior Advisor to Lyin’ Kamala Harris, spend on FoxNews?”

Trump asked. He also called Sams a “just below average guy,” and blamed Democrats who go on Fox News — “Richard Fowler, Patrick Murphy, ‘something’ Wolf, Jessica Tarloff?” for negatively impacting the election.

Fox News did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Trump, who appeared on Fox Sunday for an interview with Maria Bartiromo, also implied that he won’t be going on the channel anymore “because it all just averages out into NOTHING.”

“FoxNews has totally lost its way!” he wrote.

Despite his criticism, Trump regularly goes on Fox News. Last month, he was interviewed on Fox & Friends and this week he’ll take part in a town hall hosted by Fox News, where he’ll respond to questions from an all-female audience.
