    WWE SmackDown Viewership Increases On 10/11, Demo Also Rises

    WWE SmackDown saw an increase in viewership on October 11.

    According to Wrestlenomics , SmackDown averaged 1.652 million viewers on Friday. The show drew a 0.49 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership number is up from last week’s episode when an average of 1.518 million viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.47 rating in the same demographic.

    SmackDown ranked #1 in the key demographic on cable on Friday. It placed above college football games on ESPN and FS1.

    What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?

    This week’s show kicked off with a promo from the returning Jimmy Uso and he had a conversation with Roman Reigns.

    LA Knight defeated Carmelo Hayes to retain the United States Championship. Andrade gave Hayes grief at ringside following the match and the two men will face each other again next week.

    Later on in the show, Naomi defeated Nia Jax to earn a future title shot.

    The main event saw Solo Sikoa defeat Jimmy Uso thanks to assistance from The Bloodline. Roman Reigns attempted to make the save following the match but the two were overwhelmed by the numbers game.
