The Alabama Crimson Tide saw their recruiting class grow by one on Monday after they landed one of the best junior college players in the country.

Kevonte Henry, who ranks as the No. 2 JUCO player in the country according to 247Sports, took to social media to announce that he'd be flipping his commitment from Mississippi State to Alabama.

Henry was a four-star recruit in the 2022 class who started his career at Oklahoma after being previously committed to Michigan, but according to 247Sports , he quit the team just days before the end of the season in 2022. According to Parker Thune, Henry had discipline issues during his time in Norman.

"Henry's decision to depart the program stemmed from a flat refusal to submit to disciplinary action, and he was quickly removed from the team's online roster," wrote Thune.

After his stint at Oklahoma, Henry found himself at Cerritos College (CA). This season, he's racked up 19 total tackles, two sacks, 5.5 tackles for loss and a fumble recovery.

Alabama’s recruiting class ranks as the No. 2 class in the country, trailing only Ohio State.
