Police met with the victim who alleged they were assaulted earlier in the evening on 300 Block of East 9th street in Storm Lake. The victim alleged that during the assault, the suspect struck them several times in the head with a handgun, causing facial lacerations. The victim alleged after the assault the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle.</p><p>Later, police met with the suspect identified as Nikki Fang, age 48, of Storm Lake. A search was conducted in connection with the investigation–police found a handgun alleged to have been involved in the incident.</p><p>Fang was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury, a Serious Misdemeanor, Assault while Participating in a Felony, a Class D Felony, Going Armed with Intent, a Class D Felony, Disorderly Conduct, a Simple Misdemeanor.</p></div></body>
