In a groundbreaking event that turned the spotlight away from typical prison narratives, the San Quentin Rehabilitation Center recently completed its first-ever in-prison film festival, the San Quentin Film Festival 2024 (SQFF24). With the celebratory phrase "that's a wrap," this unique festival showcased the creative talents of current and former incarcerated filmmakers, providing them with a powerful platform for self-expression and storytelling.
