Two dead in Slidell shooting

A man and a woman are dead after a double shooting in Slidell. That shooting, investigators believe, may have been the result of a domestic dispute.

The apparent murder/suicide happened around 4 p.m. Monday outside a business on Gause Boulevard near Military Road.

According to a St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, deputies found the man dead at the scene when they arrived. First responders took the woman to a hospital, where she later died.

The case remains under investigation, but police say, "All involved individuals are accounted for."
