NOPD: St. Roch shooting leaves one dead

One person is dead in what New Orleans Police Department officials say is the city’s latest homicide.

It happened around 7 p.m. Monday on North Miro Street near Arts Street in St. Roch.

Police say they found the victim dead of a gunshot wound when they arrived on scene. Investigators have not provided any information about the victim’s identity.
