Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets hosted Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in Week 6 on "Monday Night Football." Following the Bills' 23-20 victory, Rodgers and Allen met in the middle of the field and shared a quick exchange.

While the two shared a postgame hug, Allen told Rodgers that he loved him, and Rodgers responded, "Love you too."

Both NFL stars, who are seen as two of the top quarterbacks in the league, had a tremendous outing on "Monday Night Football."

Allen finished the AFC East battle with two touchdowns and 215 yards while completing 19 of 25 pass attempts. He also added one touchdown and 18 yards in the game, showing his versatility on the prime-time stage.

Rodgers ended his night with two touchdowns and 294 yards, completing 23-of-35 pass attempts.

Fans commented on the battle between top quarterbacks after their "Monday Night Football" performances. Some fans mentioned that Rodgers was "passing the torch" to Allen, while others quickly gave the Bills star credit for outplaying the future Hall of Famer.

"Passing the torch," said one fan.

While the Jets picked up their third straight loss of the season, Buffalo used the "Monday Night Football" matchup as a big-time bounce-back game from their Week 5 loss to the Houston Texans.

After the win against a divisional rival, the Bills are the No. 1 team in the AFC East. They'll look to pick up some steam next week and potentially spark a winning streak when they take on the 1-4 Tennessee Titans.
