Aaron Rodgers' Strong Message To Damar Hamlin After Jets-Bills

NFL veteran Damar Hamlin not only took the win with the Buffalo Bills in Week 6, but he also got Aaron Rodgers' New York Jets uniform after they made a jersey swap.

Hamlin showed the jersey to reporters following the Bills' 23-20 win over Rodgers and his Jets on Monday Night Football. What stood out about the jersey, however, was the quarterback's message to the Bills safety written at the back.

"You’re an inspiration to me and millions!" Rodgers apparently wrote while also signing the jersey. "Much love, my brother!"

As fans would know, Hamlin is one of the greatest and most inspiring comeback stories in NFL history. In 2023, he suffered a cardiac arrest on the field against the Cincinnati Bengals after a collision and was brought to the hospital.

Hamlin made his return to NFL action in Week 4 of the 2023 season and played in a total of five games that campaign. This season, he's fully back and has started in all six games the Bills have played so far.

It's certainly a nice gesture from Aaron Rodgers, especially since he has every reason to be frustrated following the Jets' loss despite his heroics . New York dropped to 2-4 on the season with the defeat and showed no signs of bouncing back even after firing Robert Saleh.

Regardless, Rodgers gave Damar Hamlin the love and respect he deserves.

The Jets will have another chance to steer the ship in the right direction when they play the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7.  As for Hamlin and the Bills, they host the Tennessee Titans next week in a bid to improve to 4-3.
