Camel Farmer Stumbles Across Surprise Bundle Of Joy Lying In The Grass

When this camel farmer found out that one of her animals was pregnant, she didn’t realize quite how soon the baby would be born. So, it was quite a shock when she found the little one lying in the grass, serene as could be! Yasmin Brisbane shared the sweetest video of her surprise encounter with the precious calf on social media. This adorable moment has received over two million views!

In the clip, Yasmin was quick to welcome the unexpected calf in a gentle, soothing tone. This baby camel did not respond in kind! Instead, she let out a hilariously blaring cry. Young as she was, she certainly knew how to project!

“Molly surprised us all with this little miracle,” wrote Yasmin over the footage. “We had no idea she was this close to giving birth.”

The farmer was almost certain that, based on the baby camel’s appearance, she was at least over a day old. She still had a piece of placenta wrapped around her throat, which Yasmin quickly removed. Nearby, the calf’s mother was watching this exchange carefully. However, the adult camel didn’t seem to mind the woman petting her baby — for a little while. Finally, Molly started heading over, prompting her owner to make a quick exit.

Commenters loved this cute video, especially the baby camel’s reaction to meeting the farmer. There were a few attempts to translate the animal’s cry into English letters, including “GUUUUUUAAAAHHHH” and “MEUGHHHHHH!!!”

Weirdly enough, this wasn’t the first time Yasmin found an unexpected baby camel on her farm. However, at least she knew who this one’s mother was. Last year, the woman found an unattended calf with no parents in sight! She had to bottle-feed the little guy until she was able to find his mom, which she eventually did.

There’s never a dull moment on the camel farm, it seems!
