The Colorado Buffaloes suffered a crushing loss to the Kansas State Wildcats in Week 7. After the Buffs took a late lead, the Wildcats came right back and captured the 31-28 victory in Boulder.

It was a tough outcome for Colorado, although the 4-2 record is still encouraging.

Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders had an honest description of his performance in the game. On top of that, head coach Deion Sanders explained about the performance of his other son , Shilo Sanders, who had just returned from injury for the Week 7 clash.

“I thought he played horrible,” Deion Sanders stated. "I thought he was rusty. I thought he didn't have his footing."

On Monday night, Deion Sanders took to Instagram to post four photos, one with Shilo Sanders and another with Deion Sanders talking to Shedeur Sanders.

The caption read, "We came up short but we never gave up! Did we play out best No! But guess what? We get another opportunity this Saturday! Thank u Lord for the opportunity & we will keep on Believing. #CoachPrime @shilosanders @shedeursanders."

The Buffs head coach also tagged both of his sons in the post.

As a result, fans quickly went and provided their thoughts on Shilo Sanders' performance, and the comments were not good.

"Sorry but shilo is so overrated he gota sit down coach," one fan wrote. "Shilo ain’t it coach I’m sorry," said another.

Other fans mentioned the same thing regarding Shilo Sanders.

"Pls get shilo out of the starting lineup," said one fan.

Another wrote, "You have to sit Shilo down coach. Carter better than him."

"Sorry to say but put shilo replacement back in …. I’m just the messenger," another said.

Others were quick to point out the favoritism.

"The favoritism is showing prime. There are safeties on this team that are clearly better than Shilo it’s time to bench him," said a fan.

Another mentioned, "We not mad that shilo had a off game we mad about the favoritism anybody else would of been got took out the game."

Shilo Sanders' performance included a viral moment where he nearly had his ankles broken by Kansas State running back DJ Giddens.

He also had missed tackles and slipped on the field while trying to make a play, so it was not a good game for Shilo Sanders.

For what it's worth, this was his first game back since suffering an arm injury in the Week 2 loss to Nebraska.

Nonetheless, Deion Sanders expects more and hopes Shilo Sanders can bounce back. In Week 8, Colorado faces the Arizona Wildcats in another tough Big 12 game.
