WWE’s Chelsea Green Shares Acting Role In Blue Ridge

Since returning to WWE in the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble match, Chelsea Green has flexed her performing chops on TV, often with hilarious results. Recently, Green got down and dirty in a dumpster match with Michin on SmackDown but now the self-professed Hot Mess has an acting project in the works outside of the squared circle.

On Twitter/X, Green shared a photo from her first day on the set of Blue Ridge, where she will play the character of Shelby Hughes.

Blue Ridge premiered its first season in April of this year on the Cowboy Way Channel and on Amazon Freevee. The show follows Justin Wise (Johnathon Schaech), who takes up the role of Sherrif of a small town to be near his ex-wife and their daughter. Over the course of the show, it becomes clear that this small, quiet town harbors some dark secrets. The show is produced by INSP, who Green tagged in her post.

Acting Wrestlers

Green isn’t the only name in wrestling who has made a foray into acting in 2024. Earlier this year The Killer’s Game saw the feature film debut of Drew McIntyre who shared the screen alongside WWE alum Batista. More recently, AEW’s MJF has been filming scenes for Happy Gilmore 2 and is said to have a significant role in the Netflix-produced sequel to Adam Sandler’s comedy classic.
