Son Arrested for Porch Piracy in Polk County After Dad Reports Him

A local man has been arrested in connection with a recent porch pirate incident in Polk County, according to information shared today by Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office reports that James Rowland Jr. was caught on security footage stealing a package containing a blue dress from a local resident.

The video of the theft was shared on social media, where it was recognized by none other than Rowland Jr.'s own father, who promptly reported him to authorities.

Rowland Jr. was subsequently taken to jail, where he faces heightened penalties due to the state being under a state of emergency.
