The Davante Adams saga is officially over in Las Vegas, as the Raiders have traded him to the New York Jets. According to NFL insider Ari Meirov, the Raiders will receive a third-round pick that could become a second-rounder, and the Jets will take on Adams' entire contract.

Aaron Rodgers will be thrilled to be reunited with his former All-Pro wideout - the duo combined for 622 receptions, 7,590 yards, and 69 touchdowns during their time together in Green Bay.

The Jets suffered a devastating loss to the Bills last night, dropping them to 2-4 and putting their season on the brink. After head coach Robert Saleh was fired and offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett's play-calling duties were stripped, the team is making another desperate move to attempt to salvage this season.

The pick compensation will change from a third-rounder to a second-rounder if Adams makes the First- or Second-Team All-Pro roster or is on the active roster for an AFC Championship game or Super Bowl. Both scenarios are improbable at this point.

The Raiders will move forward with young talent in the pass-catching corps, attempting to give players like Brock Bowers and Tre Tucker, along with second-year quarterback Aidan O'Connell, more opportunities.
