CLEMSON — Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney gave the latest injury status of two of the Tigers’ top receivers.

Swinney said freshman wide receiver Bryant Wesco is day-to-day. Sophomore Tyler Brown, however, is week-to-week at the moment.

Neither receiver played in last week’s win over Wake Forest, though Brown did make the trip and was dressed for the game. However, he did not have his helmet.

“(Wesco) is getting better. He is getting better,” Swinney said during his weekly press conference on Tuesday. “It is not a long term thing. He is day-to-day. So, he is not week-to-week, he is day-to-day, but Tyler is week-to-week.

“He is getting better. He is getting better and hopefully, sooner than later.”

Brown has now missed two games this season, counting last week’s game at Wake Forest, while the win over the Demon Deacons was the first game Wesco has missed this year.

Both receivers have been banged up at different times during the course of the season.

Clemson, ranked No. 10 in the latest AP poll, hosts Virginia on Saturday (noon, ACCN) at Memorial Stadium.
