The pair of second-generation rockers previously shared the preliminary lineup, dates, and locations for upcoming concerts. Today, they followed up with even more prestigious talent set to join them at select locations in the coming months. According to the pair’s official press release, pedal steel guitarist Robert Randolph and New Orleans-bred songstress Sierra Green will be featured on all tour dates. Meanwhile, Greg Koch, Donavon Frankenreiter, Maggie Rose, and John Moreland will participate in select performances. See a complete list below. Additionally, The Allman Betts Family Revival concert, which is slated for The Ryman on Dec. 16, will now include a guest artist slot for Slash and already announced talent: Sierra Hull, Jake Shimabukuro, Luther Dickinson, Cody Dickinson, Grace Bowers, Jimmy Hall, Larry McCray, Lindsay Lou, Jackie Greene, Lamar Williams, Jr., Alex Orbison, Randolph, Green, SLASH, Frankenreiter, Moreland, Maggie Rose, led by Allman and Betts. As another layer to the impending experience, attendees will see the work of the Brotherhood of Light, who have provided visual embellishments to the stage by illuminating each evening of the tour in a similar style to what he did for the Allman Brothers Band for over 20 years. The forthcoming run of dates represents the 8th annual Allman Betts Family Revival tour, which continues as a homage to Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts through the music of The Allman Brothers. For the tour ahead, each show will feature two colossal sets. The first set will include music from the ‘70s Duane Allman era, while the second set will percolate tunes from his ‘90s comeback era. “We are so excited to continue onto the eighth year of this wonderful celebration of our father’s music. It’s a high honor to play this music with our talented friends. With the number 8 also being the symbol for infinity, we want the fans to know we’re doing our part to help this music live forever in a live format.
