    FOX Shares Eye-Opening Dodgers-Mets Announcement

Four teams are left standing in the 2024 MLB Playoffs, and in the National League, the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets are duking it out in the National League Championship Series, with the series tied at one apiece as the action shifts to New York for Games 3-5.

After the Dodgers blew out the Mets 9-0 in Game 1, New York managed to respond in Game 2 to pick up a 7-3 victory, meaning that they could conceivably clinch the series at Citi Field if they manage to win the next three games.

It's been a bit of a roller-coaster ride so far between these two squads, and it's captivated both of their respective fans. According to a recent announcement from FOX, though, it appears their broadcasts are drawing quite a few non-Dodgers and Mets fans, as 8.5 million viewers tuned in to watch Game 1 between these two teams.

This is a pretty surprising development, as Game 1 took place on Sunday, which means it was competing against football games in the NFL from the first pitch to the final out. And as noted above, LA blew out New York, so it wasn't as if it was a very competitive contest.

Despite that, FOX's numbers show that viewers were still interested to see if the mighty Dodgers or the scrappy underdog in the Mets would prevail, leading to these impressive viewership totals.

With these numbers being revealed, it's fair to assume that Game 2 also brought in millions of viewers for FOX considering it was a more competitive game that wasn't being played at the same as many other sporting events.

The Dodgers and Mets have the day off on Tuesday as they travel from Los Angeles to New York, but they will be back in action on Wednesday night, with first pitch being scheduled for 8:08 PM EST.

these announcers are by far some of worst and very 1-sided. they totally trash talk the Dodgers especially during the Padres Series. these idiots are for the most part former players who are so out-of touch
