Now You See Me 3 is shaping up to be an intense installment to the heist-thriller franchise, so much so that Jesse Eisenberg sustained an injury during filming. According to the actor, he almost made it to the end of shooting the third movie “without breaking anything.”

The first Now You See Me movie debuted in theaters back in 2013 and was followed by Now You See Me 2 three years later. Almost a decade after the second film hit the silver screen, Now You See Me 3 will premiere on November 14, 2025.

What did Jesse Eisenberg say about Now You See Me 3?

Discussing what went into making Now You See Me 3, Eisenberg said during the BFI London Film Festival red carpet premiere of A Real Pain that he has — in fact — sustained a broken finger due to the action-packed nature of the upcoming threequel.

“We’ve been in Budapest for the last three months, and I almost made it till the end without breaking anything,” the actor told Total Film. “And the movie is really astounding. It’s directed by Ruben Fleischer. This is my fourth movie with him.”

He continued, “Every day we walk onto set and pinch ourselves because the set pieces, the magic, the ensemble, it’s really, truly miraculous.”

In a separate interview during the same red carpet event, the actor told On Demand Entertainment:

“It’s quite painful,” said Eisenberg, referring to his finger. “I’m doing the third Now You See Me movie, and [there’s] a lot of action, and it turns out, I don’t know what the expression is, but in my mind I’m more of an action hero than my body would like to agree with.”

Besides Eisenberg returning as Danny Atlas, other returning cast members include Woody Harrelson as Merritt McKinney, Isla Fisher as Henley Reeves, Dave Franco, Dave Franco as Jack Wilder, Morgan Freeman as Thaddeus Bradley, Mark Ruffalo as Dylan Rhodes, Lizzy Caplan as Lula May, and Daniel Radcliffe as Walter Mabry.

They will be joined by Now You See Me newcomers Rosamund Pike, Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, and Ariana Greenblatt.
