Prince William Debuts Uncharacteristic Style Change During Latest Public Appearance

Prince William is keeping fans on their toes when it comes to his appearance.

In his latest public outing, the Prince of Wales made an unexpected style choice, switching things up in the footwear department by sporting a casual pair of sneakers while attending an event for the NFL Foundation UK in London on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

William, 42, ditched his usual dress shoes for the outing and opted for something a bit more comfortable on Tuesday. As seen in footage from the event shared on social media, the future king looked sporty and causal while rocking the crisp white sneakers.

Of course, the prince still looked polished, pairing his white kicks with a dark blue suit and a pastel button-down shirt underneath.

But fans weren't used to seeing the heir to the British throne wearing such casual shoes on his feet.

"Guys, William's in trainers!!!" one royal watcher posted on X (formerly Twitter), while someone else called his latest style change-up a "wonderful surprise."

"Good to see him a little more dressed down and relaxed to meet with the lads," someone else chimed in.

"Think he'll be a 'cool' king," another user predicted about William, the son of King Charles and older brother to Prince Harry .

During Tuesday's outing, William still had some facial hair going on, which is another part of his physical appearance that he's been switching up a lot lately.
