“College GameDay” host Rece Davis is just as peeved as everyone else is about the rampant issue of faking injuries in college football this season.

While several teams have ostensibly been busted for the increasingly widespread problem, Ole Miss has been the most egregious offender this season, leaving head coach Lane Kiffin to address the issue prior to the team’s 29-26 overtime loss to the LSU over the weekend.

Several coaches have taken heat for allegedly encouraging players to start exaggerating their injuries, and during a recent episode of the “College GameDay Podcast” on Monday, Davis really drove home how he feels about the issue, laying down a challenge to every college football head coach.

“I do want to belabor this point because I sort of went off on this and I want to echo it on the podcast about this whole fake injury thing that everybody’s trying to make the hodge conjecture, which, if you also watch GameDay, is an unsolvable or yet to be solved math problem,” Davis said . “This is not a problem. It’s a problem but it’s not complicated. Stop doing it. Just stop.”

Davis is the latest sports media personality to lambaste college football coaches over the hot-button issue.

Several of his “College GameDay” hosts have made their feelings about it known in recent weeks, including former Alabama head coach Nick Saban, who declared the epidemic was ruining the integrity of the game. Davis feels just as strongly as Saban does.

“I mean, coaches, all the time? We hear it all the time – molder of young men, accountability, discipline, do the right thing all the time,” Davis continued. “All these things are very good values and things that should be adhered to – by the coaches too!” Davis said. “You don’t want these fake injuries? Stop doing it. Stop doing it.”
