While the 84-year-old is no longer with his son's mother, film producer Noor Alfallah, 30, Pacino's found an interesting way to keep in touch with the toddler.</p><p>While promoting his new memoir, <i>Sonny Boy</i>, during a BBC interview, Pacino shared that "part of the reasons" for writing a recollection of his life was for Roman to learn about him once the <i>Scarface</i> actor had passed on.</p><p>"I want to be around for this child. And I hope I am," he wrote. According to the National Library of Medicine, children, on average, get their first phone around 12.2 years old, while 40 percent of children are introduced to smartphones between 5 to 11.</p><p>"He does text me from time to time," Pacino said about his youngest child. "Everything he does is real. Everything he does is interesting to me. So, we talk. I play the harmonica with him on the other video thing, and we have made this kind of contact. So, it’s fun."</p><p>Pacino has three adult children, Julie, 34, with ex-girlfriend an Tarrant and twins Anton, and Olivia, 23, with actress Beverly D'Angelo.
