The Las Vegas Raiders ' quarterback play has been abysmal since the departure of Derek Carr in the 2023 offseason. The team has run through three different starting quarterbacks in the last calendar year, with Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell handling signal-caller duties this season.

Minshew started the Raiders' first five games of the 2024 campaign, tossing four touchdowns and five interceptions and looking like the veteran journeyman we expected. O'Connell received his first start of 2024 in Week 6 against the Pittsburgh Steelers and didn't do much to move the needle.

Many are frustrated with the incompetence at the sport's most pivotal position in Las Vegas, but none more than controlling owner Mark Davis.

During a press conference addressing the Davante Adams trade and Tom Brady joining the team's ownership group, Davis made some comments about the future of the quarterback position for the Raiders that is turning heads.

Davis stated that even though Tom Brady can't play for Las Vegas, he can help the franchise finds its next quarterback.

Though it's obvious the Raiders will be in the market for a new signal-caller in the offseason, it's shocking that Davis would publicly throw his current quarterbacks under the bus. Minshew and O'Connell are still key pieces of the 2024 team that has 11 games left together, and this comment will only stir the pot even more.

An eventful week for the Raiders will conclude on Sunday when the team travels to SoFi Stadium to take on the Los Angeles Rams.
