Carrie Underwood Announces End of Las Vegas Residency in 2025

Twenty years ago, Carrie Underwood left behind her rural Oklahoma hometown hoping to become the next American Idol. She succeeded, winning the fourth season, but that was only the beginning. With more than 85 million records sold globally, the “All-American Girl” singer is among the best-selling musical artists of all time. In 2021, she kicked off the unprecedented REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency at the Resorts World Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas. Recently, Underwood announced that she would wrap up the residency after four wildly successful years.

Carrie Underwood Announces Final Dates For Las Vegas Residency

In a social media post Monday (Oct. 15), Carrie Underwood announced she will cap off her Reflection: The Las Vegas Residency with a trio of shows on April 9, 11 and 12.

“These past 3 years have gone by so fast! I’ve had the absolute best time performing our show #REFLECTION and am extremely proud of what we created,” Underwood wrote. “Thank you to all the fans that have come out to see us from all over the world and continue to show us love. We look forward to seeing more of you at our final shows next year.”

Tickets for the final three dates will go on sale at 10 a.m. Pacific Friday, Oct. 18. Two days earlier, Underwood will kick off the fall leg of her residency.

The 100-minute production takes its audience on a sweeping journey through Underwood’s 20-year career, including hits like “Blown Away” and “Before He Cheats.” The multi-platinum artist is the venue’s first and longest-running headlining act.

Carrie’s Return to ‘American Idol’

If you aren’t able to secure tickets for REFLECTION, but you can’t get enough Carrie Underwood, you’re in luck. The “Cry Pretty” singer will join Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie on the American Idol season 23 judging panel.

Katy Perry had served alongside Bryan and Richie since Idol’s 2018 reboot. After seven seasons, the “Woman’s World” singer exited the show in May to refocus on her music career. In August, Idol confirmed that the season 4 champion would take over Perry’s seat.

It’s a full-circle moment for the 23-time CMT Award winner, who aims to prioritize both honesty and kindness in her new role.

“And I think that’s the whole point, because people are coming in and it’s dreams,” she said. “You’re part of somebody’s story from that moment on.”
