Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders is in his second season in Boulder after coming over from Jackson State.

However, his future remains uncertain, especially with Sanders being a rumored option for programs such as Florida State . The fact that Florida State is his alma mater also helped those rumors circulate.

It remains to be seen what Sanders plans on doing in the future. After the 2024 season, Shedeur Sanders, the son and current quarterback of the Buffs, is headed to the NFL Draft.

Two-way star and Heisman Trophy candidate Travis Hunter is also headed to the NFL, so Deion Sanders might be considering a move as well.

During a recent episode of "Outta Pocket with RG3 ", Robert Griffin III asked Hunter a question: "What have you seen from him moving forward for the future that this is home?"

Hunter then answered the question and mentioned that Deion Sanders enjoys being there.

"He loves it here," Hunter stated. "He always talks about it, he loves it being here but he is a Florida boy. You come outside and you see mountains. That’s kind of shocking to him still to this day. He loves being here, the fans take care of us a lot. The school takes care of us a lot. So I know he wants to be here and he loves being here."

Hunter admits how much Deion Sanders "loves it" in Boulder. On the other hand, he also said that he is a "Florida boy."

Earlier in the year, Deion Sanders mentioned , "This is not the last go-'round for me. I'm just getting started in college football."

College football analyst Paul Finebaum also stirred up the Sanders' departure rumblings after Colordo's Week 2 loss to Nebraska.

All in all, Hunter's comments on his head coach are noteworthy. Regardless, if a top job opens up somewhere else, especially in Florida, it could be a golden opportunity for Deion Sanders.

Deion is going to prove lots of people wrong! He's going to remain at CU. Those who think otherwise, hit me up when I prove you wrong!!

Lol it doesn't take a PHD or a Colorado degree to know that Sanders was never going to stick around after his boys finished football. He didn't take this job to build a great program, he did it to showcase Sheduer and Travis Hunter until they graduated and then deion would move on. If you didn't see that coming then you're prime blind. 🙈🙉🙊
