Jeopardy! contestant reveals which competitors she dreaded facing after green room prep

Ahead of Tuesday's Jeopardy! episode, quizzer Zoe Grobman gave fans some insight on what the show is truly like .

In a lengthy Reddit post, she got real and dished about her own experience, including what some of her fears were going into the competition . Preparation for the recorded Jeopardy! shows gave her some insight into the other players from the season, and she definitely was intimidated by a few of them.

She wrote: "After watching everyone play the practice games, I knew there were two players I really didn't want to face: Eamonn and Rishabh. This was only further cemented during the first game when Rishabh was getting all the answers in the green room. So of course I faced both of them."

Despite her fear of facing Rishabh, she did find some common ground with him. The pair did not meet before the show, but they had unlikely life connections. Both Zoe and Rishabh currently live in Pennsylvania, only a mile away from each other in Philadelphia. As if that wasn't quirky enough, they attended the same high school in Chicago, but didn't know each other. "An incredible coincidence that also sadly ensured that I don't get the hometown glory in either place," Zoe wrote.

In the end, the trivia whiz admitted she was proud of her performance on the show even if she didn't necessarily win it all. Zoe reflected: "I pulled off a major turnaround in Double Jeopardy with around a $10k swing against two very strong opponents, and I managed to beat the returning champion. I'm proud of my Jeopardy! Silver Medal!"

Fans showed Zoe support online, with one writing: "Overall I'm about as proud of my performance as it is possible to be without winning. Zoe concluded her post with a lovely "Go Birds!" in reference to the Philadelphia Eagles. Fans were thrilled with her shoutout, saying she did Philadelphia proud.
