If there's one gripe fans have about Aaron Rodgers, it's the occasional eye-raising comments he'll make. One such incident happened after the New York Jets' loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 6.

One of the final plays of the game saw Aaron Rodgers attempt a deep pass to WR Mike Williams. However, it appeared to have been an underthrown ball, and Williams slipped while trying to recover his position. As a result, the ball was intercepted by the Bills.

As it turns out, though, Williams ran the wrong route. How do we know that? Well, it's because Rodgers himself told everyone in the ensuing postgame media availability.

The Jets QB defended his actions on the Pat McAfee show as well. In the interview, Rodgers said that he's taken responsibility for when he makes mistakes, so he holds others to that same standard as well.

There's one former player, in particular, who wasn't a fan of Rodgers' rationale. Ryan Fitzpatrick, who both played for the Bills and Jets in his career, criticized how Rodgers handled this situation.

Rodgers' style where he publicly calls out his teammates is polarizing amongst fans. Some defend the Jets star QB by saying that it can motivate the player who is called out to be better. Others, like Fitzpatrick, believe that these callouts need to stay in-house, especially coming from a position like the quarterback position.

It will be interesting to see if Rodgers will respond to these comments by Fitzpatrick. Either way, Rodgers' comments will spark yet another discussion about the star quarterback's media presence.
