Aaron Rodgers always knew he would steal Davante Adams away from the Las Vegas Raiders

With the Davante Adams trade to the New York Jets done, some things of the past are starting to pop back up, particularly for the Las Vegas Raiders and fans along with media remembering the situation that happened less than a year ago.

The trade seemed like it was always destined to happen. The Jets have Aaron Rodgers, who is not only one of the best quarterbacks of all time but is also a longtime friend and teammate of Adams. He is the quarterback that has out Adams in the most successful positions in his career.

So, this was coming, and everyone knew it, so much so that the trade went down today and Adams not only already has two Jets' style pairs of cleats he has posted on Instagram, but he was also with Rodgers today on the Pat McAfee show, only hours after the trade was announced.

Not only that, but Rodgers knew this would happen a while back, too. In fact, he pretty much predicted this would happen without outright saying it. If you remember correctly, Rodgers was at a golf outing and said something that made everyone freak out.

“I love Davante Adams, I can’t wait to play with him…again," Rodgers said while at South Lake Tahoe.

So, it seems like Rodgers always knew this would happen. He always knew he would steal Adams away from the Raiders. But, it's in the past now, and the Raiders have less drama on their hands, and can focus on hopefully getting a win against the Los Angeles Rams. Then, they will be tasked with playing the Kansas City Chiefs.
