He's also switched agencies after being fired by CAA, signing on with Drew Rosenhaus instead.Now, the Jets have granted Reddick permission to seek a trade before the deadline.Reddick will likely seek a long-term extension from his next team, but he can provide an instant boost to his next team's pass rush. He's been to two straight Pro Bowls, racking up 27 sacks and six forced fumbles. He also generated 135 pressures in that two-year span, according to TruMedia.It's unclear what kind of compensation the Jets could get for Reddick. Through six games, Hopkins has caught just 14 passes for 175 yards and one touchdown.It's not like Will Levis and company are trying to get Hopkins involved, either. He has just 20 targets on the season. However, he is still getting open when targeted, averaging 3.2 yards of separation per target, according to Next Gen Stats.Hopkins had a $18.3 million cap hit heading into the season, so whoever trades for him would need to have a little bit of cap space. Since taking over as the starter in 2023, Young has the lowest passer rating of any quarterback in the NFL at 71.0, behind the likes of Bo Nix, Zach Wilson, and Mac Jones. He's also dead last with 5.4 yards per pass attempt and tied for last with a 0.8 TD-INT ratio.However, the Panthers have not surrounded Young with much offensive talent. Adam Thielen has been one of the most reliable targets in the Panthers' offense, while the offensive line has consistently struggled to keep pressure off of Young. He was sacked 62 times in 2023, the second-most in the league behind Sam Howell.The Panthers benched Young in favor of Andy Dalton, throwing in the towel on Young's long-term development.
