In recruiting check out our weekly Tracking The Commits feature with stats and highlights.
Also Stephen Wagner shares his take on what has to happen for the Hurricanes to finish with a top 5 or to 10 recruiting class. So be sure to check that out.
There’s also a basketball recruiting update, as on November 2 Davidson Day (N.C.) four-star shooting guard Isaiah Denis will announce his commitment. He’s choosing between North Carolina, Ohio State, Pitt, Wake Forest, Tennessee, Kansas, and Miami, and shares his point of view as of now.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.
#1 Cam Ward no more DUMB turnovers. The picks were not good, but it’s gonna happen. But the fumble against Vtech n the 2nd half pick v Cal across field. Inexcusable and can not happen. How would those games have gone without those 2 plays alone.
#2 Kiko Mauigoa, Daryl Porter and Mish Powell HAVE TO play better, especially Kiko. If they do, less points against us.
#3 No more DUMB penalties, especially the personal fouls. Now, I honestly believe the 2 fouls on Jacolby George were absolute garbage calls…he did NOTHING wrong. Now am I still concerned about him, yes, cuz he can be stupid, and teams are obviously taught to instigate him. Isaiah kicking someone was just dumb. Can’t have any of this.
If #1 n #2 alone happen, it’s 12-0, beat Clemson, and playoff time.
Honorable mention is play the best RB 70% of the time. And at least half of us now agree that’s not Damien Martinez. I think it’s Ajay or Lyle. I’d still prefer Fletcher to Martinez. But, like Kiko n other players mentioned, if Martinez can gain some confidence back, maybe he has a better 2nd half of the season.
