One of, if not the most important decisions the Chicago Sky need to make in the offseason is finding their next head coach. This was after the organization decided to part ways with Teresa Weatherspoon after just one season at the helm.

Another coach who just recently cut ties with his team was Curt Miller, who was fired by the Los Angeles Sparks after leading the squad to a league-worst 8-32 record. This was the fourth consecutive season the Sparks missed the playoffs and the second under Miller's watch.

As it turns out, the 56-year-old could be moving from Los Angeles to Chicago. According to a report by Annie Costabile of Chicago Sun-Times , the Sky are not only interested in acquiring the services of the former Sparks coach. Apparently, Chicago has already been in contact with Miller.

"Unlike last year, the Sky are taking a steady approach to their coaching search, but it is underway," Costabile wrote. "According to multiple league sources, the Sky have shown interest in former Sparks coach Curt Miller, with preliminary discussions occurring between the two parties."

This new rumor quickly spread on social media and for the most part, Sky fans aren't too pleased about it. In fact, more than a few supporters were in disbelief after this report surfaced.

"Sky organization so unserious, Curt Miller? 😭😭😭" a comment on X (formerly Twitter) read.

"GET OUT PLS NO💀💀💀" responded a user.

"Hmmm, thought that was a joke," admitted another.

    "Wait what??" a reaction read.

"i’m jumping ship if they hire him. unserious a-- franchise. chicago sports team owners are so trash and cheap," declared a fan.

"TSpoon won 13 games. Curt "Last Place" Miller won 8 games. So the Sky come to the conclusion to fire TSpoon & snatch up Miller?! I seriously hope this is someone's idea of a joke," said another.

Needless to say, fans are not in agreement with the idea of the Sky hiring Miller as their next head coach, and they have made their feelings about it abundantly clear.

Whether or not this influences the head office's decision, however, remains to be seen.

99% of fans could care less. The author found the 4-5 that had an opinion. He has been a good coach in the past. Injuries hurt the Sparks.
