Fire officials investigating basement fire at Yonkers home

Fire officials are working to figure out what caused a fire at a Yonkers home. The two-alarm fire happened around 11 p.m. Tuesday night in the basement of 38 Vineyard Ave. Reports claim it was originally knocked down around 11:20 p.m., but crews requested additional units that were closer to the scene about 10 minutes later. A rehab unit was also requested at that time. The fire was completely knocked out around 11:50 p.m. Fire officials have not released the number of people that live in the building or if there were any injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. "
