What happened to Benjamin Wadsworth’s Drew in Tell Me Lies Season 2?

Drew died in Tell Me Lies Season 2.

Drew has faced a difficult time in the series since the debut season. In Season 1, he landed up in trouble due to Macy’s accident led to her death. Drew broke the accident news to Wrigley and Stephen but avoided informing the police as he was drunk during that time. However, Drew’s mistake of not reporting the accident started pushing him into deep trouble.

Stephen inadvertently shared some crucial details of the accident with his then-girlfriend Lucy. He revealed that he was inside Macy’s car during the crash while Drew was driving the other car, which nearly collided with them. As a result, Lucy sends an anonymous letter to the Dean to investigate Drew. However, Drew accused Wrigley’s girlfriend, Pippa, of sending the letter due to Stephen’s manipulation. Further, Drew fought with Wrigley, which ended up injuring the latter. In the Season 1 finale, it is revealed that Stephen was the culprit who managed to show Drew guilt due to his drunken state.

After his last appearance during the fight with his brother, Drew returned in Season 2 to check on Wrigley. He appeared in the season finale, where he was seen partying, but his happiness was short-lived. He ended up suffering an overdose of Wrigley’s pills and died on the couch. Thus, Drew passed away in Tell Me Lies Season 2.

Will Drew return in Tell Me Lies Season 3?

Drew’s comeback is unlikely in Tell Me Lies Season 3.

As mentioned above, Drew’s character has passed away on the show. Additionally, show creator Meaghan Oppenheimer confirmed with Variety that they had been planning Drew’s death since Season 1. She said, “During Season 1, I thought that it would be the ending of Season 1, and then there was too much, and we didn’t need it. So I always knew he was going to die.”
