Florida Is Getting A New Texas Roadhouse

Floridians who want a good steak have plenty of chain steakhouses from which to choose. From Cody's Roadhouse to LongHorn Steakhouse to Outback Steakhouse (whose parent company is headquartered in Florida,) there are plenty of options. However, Floridians who enjoy Texas Roadhouse may be interested to know that the state is getting a new store in Mount Dora.

About Texas Roadhouse: This chain's website says that it is "legendary" since it hand cuts its steaks, makes its sides from scratch, and freshly bakes its bread.

The chain is relatively new, having begun in the 1990s in Indiana. It had the goal of serving scratch food at a value price.

Many Floridians like and patronize this chain. For example, a location in Jacksonville has been reviewed over 5,300 times and earns 4.4 stars on Google reviews. A reviewer named Julia had this to say:

"Phenomenal service! The rolls were amazing and so was the steak. Staff was great, too. Will definitely recommend (it.) Gets busy, strongly recommend calling ahead or getting on the wait list via the website."

There are only 45 Texas Roadhouse stores in Florida so not all Floridians who would want to eat at one will have easy access. In contrast, there are around 660 in the whole United States.

The New Florida Location: A new restaurant is reportedly planned in Mount Dora at 19210 US Hwy 44. No opening date has been announced.

The author is not in any way affiliated with Texas Roadhouse or any other restaurants.

we need another Texas road house in Tallahassee Fl. the one here stays so busy they can't keep up when you order online and they give you at time to pick up,and it 2 hrs later and you only order 12 rolls. that's ridiculous. If they hadn't already paid for and my daughter really wanted them. I would have left. and then they where over cooked Haven't went back and won't .
