With Clemson set to return to Death Valley this weekend to take on Virginia, that means a number of recruits will return to campus for the noon matchup.

3-star OL Dylan Biehl (Lambert, GA) will be one of those on hand and this will mark his second gameday visit of the season. The 6-foot-5, 275-pound tackle prospect was also in town for the Tigers blowout win over Stanford late last month.

“I was fortunate to go up to Howard’s Rock before the game. That was probably the highlight of the deal,” Biehl told The Clemson Insider. “That was pretty awesome.”

Getting to witness what some have called the “Most Exciting 25 Seconds in College Football” up close and personal was an experience that left a lasting impression.

“All the fans were loving me up and I was dapping all up everybody I saw, trying to give them some love back,” Biehl said. “Just seeing them get off that bus. You see it on TV so many times, but you can’t explain what it’s like to even be up there when you actually see it in person. Once you’re there, it’s almost breathtaking. It’s just amazing. It’s all the noise and everything. I think it’s the best entrance in college football.”

Biehl also got to go in the locker room and take in Dabo Swinney’s pregame speech. It was just one of many highlights the high school junior experienced.

“Just being in that atmosphere, it’s an impressive thing,” he added. “That’s why I think their home records been so good. Because that atmosphere is just contagious, and it’s just awesome.”

“The people are just fantastic. Everybody who works there was prepared. They’re extremely hospitable and they’re kind. You can tell everybody is a disciple of coach Swinney because they all kind of act a certain way. They act very much like him and that starts up at the top. It’s a good example for everybody.”

Biehl made his first visit to campus last June and he and offensive line coach Matt Luke clicked almost instantly. They have been building on that foundation since, and each time Biehl visits that relationship grows stronger.

“I immediately hit it off with him,” Biehl said. “I just enjoy talking to him. He is an easy guy to talk to. I went in June, that was around the contact period, when it opened up. So I saw him the second time. It was really good. We had lunch together and all that and it was just fun. He’s the type of guy that is very easy to talk to. He’s kind of a character. Just the kind of guy that is fun to be around. Like, I want to see coach Luke. You can tell he is experienced because he knows what he’s talking about. He knows what he’s doing.”

Biehl was supposed to visit Stanford after his Clemson visit. However Hurricane Helene caused a change in his high school schedule causing him to scrap the trip for the time-being. He also plans to get to Miami and Penn State over the next few weeks. He already has offers from all three of those schools, as well as Virginia, West Virginia, Georgia Tech, Indiana and Kansas.

The offensive lineman is in no rush to make any kind of decision but would like to be committed by the start of his senior season. For now he is focused on finding the right fit and adding that coveted Clemson offer to his ever-growing list.

“(Coach Luke) always said I’m a great fit character-wise,” Biehl said. “I wasn’t able to go to camp, so I wasn’t able to get one-on-one instruction with him but he’s always said that I’m the right fit. So, I think, as he continues to go watch my film, and I continue to go out there, I think an offer will be very close to happening. Hopefully I’ll have it sometime within the next couple months.”
