Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce said he had "mixed feelings" during his American League Championship Series date with pop superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift at Yankee Stadium Monday (October 14) night.

Kelce, 35, an Ohio native, discussed being spotted in the Yankee Stadium luxury suite with his brother, recently retired former Philadelphia Eagles center turned ESPN analyst Jason Kelce , during the latest episode of his New Heights podcast released on Wednesday (October 16), noting that he had fun despite the Guardians, his lifelong favorite team, losing to the Yankees in Game 1.

“I’m in hostile territory cause it’s the Bronx Bombers and I’m at Yankee Stadium and the playoffs, and I’m over here cheering for the Guards cause I’m a Cleveland kid and I want to see Cleveland win a f–king World Series,” he said. “It was mixed feelings because I was there trying to have some fun with Tay and everybody, all our friends… came, we had an unbelievable crew with us and hanging with us, it was fun, even though the Guards couldn’t pull it off, it was still an exciting game, it was cool to see Yankee Stadium because I always wanted to see that thing in person, in a playoff game, in a hostile environment and it didn’t disappoint, man. The Yankees, the fans, the players, everybody involved man, it was awesome.”

A post shared by Major League Baseball's TikTok account showed the couple in a luxury suite with the caption, "Taylor Swift attends game with her potential future husband in my dreams Travis Kelce you two make me believe in love I can't stop crying never change ILYSM #TAYVIS."

TBS/Max play-by-play man Brian Anderson referred to Kelce as a "big Cleveland fan." Kelce and Swift, 34, attended the game Monday night prior to the Chiefs resuming practice after their bye week.

The couple was previously photographed at the downtown Manhattan eatery Torrisi Saturday (October 12) night. Swift attended Kelce's Monday Night Football win against the New Orleans Saints at Arrowhead Stadium days prior, having missed the Chiefs' previous two road games, which reportedly coincided with preparation for the relaunch of her 'Eras Tour' in Miami on Friday (October 18).

Kelce recorded a season-best nine receptions for 70 yards, coming off a seven-catch, 89-yard performance in Week 4, following an uncharacteristic slump to start the season. The Chiefs defeated the Saints, 26-13, to improve to 5-0, joining the Minnesota Vikings as the only remaining undefeated NFL teams through the first five games of the 2024 season with both on a bye this week.

Swift has attended most of Kelce's games that haven't conflicted with her 'Eras Tour' schedule since they began dating, which included flying from Tokyo after the completion of her concert to Las Vegas for the Chiefs' Super Bowl LVIII victory against the San Francisco 49ers. The couple initially went public with their relationship when she attended his game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium last September .

Kelce famously revealed that he attempted to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number when he attended her concert at Arrowhead Stadium prior to their relationship last summer. Swift later said that the three-time Super Bowl champion "very adorably put me on blast" when he acknowledged the situation on his New Heights podcast , which she said "was metal as hell" while being featured as Time Magazine 's 'Person of the Year' in December 2023.

The Chiefs entered the 2024 NFL season coming off their back-to-back Super Bowl victories and their third in five years. Kelce signed an extension that will pay him an average annual salary of $17.125 million during the next two seasons , having previously been set to make $12 million in 2024 and $16.25 during the 2025 season.

The 34-year-old currently ranks fourth among NFL tight ends in both career receptions (931) and receiving yards (11,556), as well as fifth in receiving touchdowns (74) in 12th NFL season.
