Aldi and Sprouts Announce New Locations Coming to Delaware

Two national grocery chains will be expanding their presence in Delaware in the near future. Sprouts Farmers Market and Aldi have both indicated plans for new stores in the state on their websites.

Sprouts, headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, operates nearly 400 stores nationwide. Their new Delaware location will be at 431 Middletown Warwick Rd., Middletown. The company currently has one other Delaware store in Wilmington. The grand opening date for the new Middletown market is set for December 6.

Aldi, with corporate offices in Batavia, Illinois, has over 2,400 stores nationally. They will be opening their second location in Wilmington at 4130 Concord Pike. It will bring the number of stores in the state to 10. There is no firm opening date for that location as of yet. The only indication on timing is "coming soon."

    What do you think?

Will these two new stores be welcome additions?

Which chains would you like to see in your town?
