The Tennessee Vols will reportedly host a former Clemson Tigers commit this weekend when the Alabama Crimson Tide visit Neyland Stadium for the latest installment in the historic "Third Saturday in October" rivalry.

According to 247Sports' Tom Loy, 2025 four-star defensive lineman Isaiah Campbell will be in Knoxville this weekend for a visit.

Campbell, 6-foot-4/260 lbs from Durham, NC, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 6 defensive lineman in the nation and the No. 2 player in the state of North Carolina. He's also rated as the No. 37 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class (Campbell is not far from being a five-star recruit).

The North Carolina native initially committed to Clemson in late January before decommitting from the Tigers in September.

Scouting report via 247Sports : Moldable defensive lineman that can be deployed in a variety of different ways at the next level in both odd and even fronts. Size hasn’t been third-party verified in over a year, but looks to be north of 6-foot-3 with the room to eventually carry 285 pounds or more. Produced in a big way as a junior, racking up 110 tackles and 16 sacks as he used active hands to get off blocks. Adequate get-off at this stage and has the burst to dart laterally and make stops while in pursuit. Understands how to find leverage, but isn’t the most consistent edge setter and is likely going to need some technical refinement before he’s ready to be a full-time contributor on Saturdays. Overall, should be viewed as a scheme versatile point-of-attack defender that can slow down the run and add some value as a pass rusher. Could take a major step forward after a developmental year or two in a college strength program. Sunday upside if he can keep progressing.

Interestingly, Campbell attends the same high school in Durham (Southern) that former Vols running back Jaylen Wright attended, so there is at least a small hometown connection to Tennessee for the four-star defensive lineman.

Miami and North Carolina are also pursuing Campbell.
