Trump Slams ‘Pelosis’ As ‘Sick’ And ‘Evil,’ Doubling Down On ‘Enemy From Within’ Rhetoric

Former President Donald Trump doubled down on his attacks on Democrats as the “enemy from within” and name-checked Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi , as well as her husband Paul Pelosi , as “sick” and “evil.”

Trump escalated his rhetoric during a Fox News town hall in Georgia on Tuesday night, hosted by the network’s anchor Harris Faulkner . The town hall was pitched to focus on policy issues important to female voters to an audience comprised only of women.

According to NBC , however, Trump branded Democrats as the nation’s most “dangerous” threat. Trump said: “They’re Marxists and communists and fascists, and they’re sick. We have China, we have Russia, we have all these countries. If you have a smart president, they can all be handled.”

He continued: “The more difficult are, you know, the Pelosis, these people, they’re so sick and they’re so evil.”

Trump’s remarks come just days after and interview with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo during which he referred to Democrats as “lunatics” and “a bigger threat” to the nation than foreign adversaries. At that time he cited Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) as an example. The former president went on to suggest that the military might be necessary to handle unrest on Election Day, potentially fueled by “radical left lunatics.”

His comments drew sharp criticism from Vice President Kamala Harris , who labeled him “dangerous” and “increasingly unstable” at a Pennsylvania rally. Harris also released an ad titled Enemy Within to further highlight her concerns.

“A second Trump term is a huge risk for America,” Harris warned attendees. “He’s out for unchecked power.”
