For the first time this season, the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) truly have a decision to make at quarterback between Russell Wilson and Justin Fields .

Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported Tuesday that Wilson, fully healed from the calf injury he sustained on the eve of training camp and reaggravated days before the season opener, will see first-team reps in practice this week . Head coach Mike Tomlin, however, has yet to announce who will be under center in Sunday’s Week 7 home matchup against the New York Jets (2-4).

One thing is for certain, and that is that George Pickens does not have a preference of who’s throwing him the football. Pickens just wants to win, he said on FS1 ‘s “The Facility” when asked who he’d prefer between Wilson and Fields. The 23-year-old pushed back on the narrative he’s a selfish player, calling himself the “most unselfish guy in the world.”

“I know the media and the world want to paint me out as a selfish guy but honestly I’m the most unselfish guy in the world,” Pickens said . “To me honestly it really doesn’t matter. They’re both good players and I know they both got two different playing styles, but they’re both good players and they engineer victory. Me coming from Georgia , that’s like one of the biggest things I only care about is winning. … They both engineer victory, so they both good quarterbacks.”

Steelers still deciding between Russell Wilson, Justin Fields at QB for Week 7 vs. Jets

The Steelers haven’t gotten consistent production from their pass catchers this season, aside from Pickens. The third-year pro has seen a team-leading 44 targets, hauling in 26 for 363 yards. Pickens has yet to find the end zone after scoring nine touchdowns in his first two seasons in the league.

The offense has largely struggled as a whole, despite Fields showing improvement from his time with the Chicago Bears (4-2). Pittsburgh has the No. 26 ranked offense in the NFL , averaging just 298.3 yards per game. The defense has led the way, surrendering only 14.3 points per game. Fields has thrown for 1,106 yards, five touchdowns and one interception on 66.3% passing. His legs have bailed out the Steelers at times, as he has rushed for 231 yards and five scores.

Wilson was named the starter over Fields before reaggravating his calf injury, and could be poised to reclaim his spot against New York.

“Last week we were scheduled for Russ to work in totality,” Tomlin said Tuesday. “He did that. Over the course of the week, I got comfortable with his ability to display his health. Now, it’s about knocking the rust off. He did some of that last week, and he is in consideration this week. We’ll see where that leads us. Both guys at the quarterback position are scheduled to work tomorrow. We’ll just walk it day by day. All geared towards putting ourselves in the best position to win the football game.”
