Brie Garcia Confirms Her Mother’s Marriage Status To John Laurinaitis

Back in September 2015, former WWE employee John Laurinaitis became engaged to Kathy Colace, The Garcia Twins’s mother, leading to them tying the knot the following year. At the time, it was hoped the couple would have a long and happy marriage, although once Laurinaitis was accused of being involved in Vince McMahon’s hush money scandal, fans couldn’t help but wonder if they had a future.

And now, after Bryan Danielson, who is married to Brie Garcia, called Laurinaitis his “ ex-father-in-law ” during a recent interview, it has been confirmed during the sister’s podcast by Brie that her mother has officially divorced the disgraced former WWE executive.

“Is it fine to tell everyone that you’re divorced? She’s not single and ready to mingle, by no means. She is, I feel like, enjoying your independent time.”

62-year-old Laurinaitis broke into the wrestling business in 1986 under the name Johnny Ace, and while he never achieved the same level of success as his brother, Road Warrior Animal, he did have a notable career in Japan. Then, following his in-ring retirement in 2000, he would transition into working backstage for WCW, which eventually saw him join WWE after Vince McMahon purchased his rival. However, his lengthy spell with the company ended in 2022 when he was fired after the initial misconduct claims against McMahon and himself were reported.
