Two volunteers from the Lebanese Red Cross were injured on Wednesday as a result of an Israeli attack in southern Lebanon.

Two ambulances arrived in the town of Juwaya in the afternoon after an Israeli attack there, the aid organization said on X.

"The teams began to search for the injured in order to treat and rescue them... At 5:10, the site was targeted, and two paramedics were slightly injured by shrapnel," the Red Cross said.

According to the World Health Organization, 23 attacks on health facilities have been recorded since Israel began its massive attacks in Lebanon almost a month ago. According to the WHO, both health workers and patients are among those killed.
